While spending eight months living and traveling in Europe, I sent a total of 23 postcards home. Before stepping on the plane to Ireland, I had no idea what I wanted to do as a career. Armed with a degree in journalism and electronic media, the possibilities were endless, but I had no focus, only a nagging dream to make art that I assumed would fade. Certain I would have some great epiphany during my European adventure, I was not worried. My friend, Sarah, who went on this journey with me, did have the great epiphany, and she is now enrolled in occupational therapy school, her own journalism degree a forgotten memory.
I, on the other had, was not so lucky. The only stringing thought that made its way through the 11 countries I spent time in was that I wanted to start a greeting card company.
So here we are, with a little different plan, but the same premise- to make art my job. Those 23 postcards are the inspiration for this company, and the things I saw and experienced while sending them affect each piece I make. And I’m loving every minute of it!

Hi there lil lady, I LOVE your pieces and I wish you many blessings on your journey. I too am in the veeeery beginning stages of making my art my job so it is exciting to see someone along a similar journey and I salute to you my dear!
